Rich, creamy and deeply traditional, it is served in a hollowed-out artisanal loaf of bread, giving the dish a contemporary presentation. The pulled pork knuckle with sauerkraut and lokša combined bold flavours, contrasting textures and honest, home-style cooking. Dessert came in the form of plum jam-filled pirohy, a simple yet nostalgic finish. The experience would benefit from more proactive and communicative service. When people hear the name Mexiko, many expect tortillas and fiery chilli, but here the focus is firmly on regional home cooking paired with a strong culinary identity and a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
