SPILKA Restaurant in Bratislava blends the industrial past of the local brewery with modern cuisine. Located in the city centre, just a few steps from public transport and with parking nearby, the space is generous, stylishly renovated, and retains the character of the brewery. The atmosphere is relaxed, with the natural buzz that complements good food and beer. The staff are professional and friendly and handle larger groups with ease. The menu draws from traditional Slovak, Hungarian, and Czech cuisine, presented in a lighter, contemporary style using quality ingredients and precise preparation. Alongside excellent craft beers, classics such as goulash, schnitzel, and halušky are served, while more adventurous diners can enjoy modern interpretations. We were particularly impressed by the rich, classic Jókai bean soup with noodles, smoked meat, and sausage, but do not miss the legendary schnitzels or the sviečková na smotane. SPILKA is a place where history, great food, and authentic Bratislava energy come together in full force.
