Do you feel like a taste of Italy? Surprisingly, you can find just such a place right at the start of Ružomberok in Liptov. A large sign with the name of the restaurant at the roadside will attract your attention. There is a parking area directly beside the building, and it is highly advisable to make a reservation, as the place gets very busy at lunchtime. The interior is clean, with an open kitchen where the renowned Neapolitan pizza is prepared in full view of diners. For a moment, it genuinely feels like stepping into a small family-run restaurant in Italy. The menu features a selection of salads, pasta, and various pizzas. We started with a light starter, beetroot carpaccio with goat cheese, house-made bread, and a salad, which was perhaps a little generous in portion. Having heard praise for the Caesar salad, we chose it as a main course. The chicken breast could have been juicier, and the dressing slightly more generous, but overall, the salad was well balanced in flavour and was one of the better Caesar salads we have tasted. And what better way to finish than with tiramisu? For our taste, it was slightly too sweet, which somewhat overpowered the coffee flavour. This restaurant comes highly recommended for anyone travelling through Liptov. A visit here is unlikely to disappoint.
