We recommend trying the classic Eastern Slovak soup mačanka or a traditional Slovak krémeš. For the main course, the duck breast with braised red cabbage and lokše filled with poultry pâté and walnut crumble is a standout. The breast was pink and juicy, the cabbage exactly as expected. The lokše were a delightful surprise; the pâté and crumble added an extra layer of flavour and texture. It is a beautiful example of how even traditional dishes can be pushed forward.
