Chateau Appony

Once a Renaissance manor house owned by the Apponyi family in Oponice, Chateau Appony now operates as a four-star hotel while preserving much of its historic charm. Accommodation comprises several dozen rooms and suites across various categories, complemented by a wellness area with a swimming pool, saunas, hot tubs, and massage treatments. A true gem of the property is its Baroque library, which houses thousands of historical volumes by prominent European authors. The hotel is surrounded by a nine-hectare park planted with rare trees. The on-site restaurant Songe serves traditional Slovak and international cuisine in an elegant setting. Several lounges are available for conferences, weddings and other functions and events.
