bistro Otto!

Bistro Otto! is located a short distance from the popular Blue Church, the Danube riverbank, and the historic centre of Bratislava. It brings together a local community and lovers of quality coffee, good wine, and honest food. On weekdays, the bistro offers lunch specials and flavourful dinners, making it an ideal spot for groups of friends, while on weekends it is especially popular for brunch. The dishes and snacks are complemented by an unusually wide selection of natural wines for a bistro of this type. Otto! is known for its modern twists on familiar dishes from the past – for example, fried oyster mushrooms in panko with sriracha mayonnaise, a playful reference to traditional fried parasol mushrooms. Stroganoff? The tender pork cheeks taste of root vegetables and whisky, they were marinated in. Served with roasted mushrooms, pickled gherkins, dill and tarhoňa as a side dish. For the stroganoff at Otto!, all you will need is a spoon to scoop up the fantastic sauce down to the very last grain of tarhoňa. The pancakes, perhaps, the most beloved childhood dessert, are served with a generous portion of vanilla cream and a filling of caramelised nuts and slightly sour raisins, which balance the sweetness perfectly. The overall experience was slightly disturbed by the service staff being a bit too noisy behind the bar; however, that is often part of the charm of bistros, lively and bustling places. If you find yourself wandering the streets of Bratislava, you may come across this favourite local corner. Step inside and take a bite of Bratislava’s life. You will surely find something to suit you.
