APANI in Šamorín offers precise Asian cuisine with a strong emphasis on freshness and technical skill. Sushi, ramen and smaller dishes are well balanced and confidently seasoned. The service comes across as professional and sincere, enhancing the overall experience. The location may be slightly inconvenient without a car, but parking is easy and readily available. The attractive interior, dominated by darker tones, would benefit from a little more warmth and cosiness. The tempura prawns, served with wasabi mayonnaise and tangy sesame cucumber, were flavourful, though closer to panko-coated prawns than classic tempura. What truly impressed us was the ramen: a rich broth, excellent noodles cooked just right, quality seaweed and a perfectly prepared egg. This alone is worth the journey. The highlight of the visit, however, was the dessert, one we would not change a thing about and would happily return for. Yoghurt ice cream cleverly paired with peanuts and salted caramel was genuinely delicious. Prices reflect both the quality of the food and the standard of service, although the staff would benefit from a little refinement in guest interaction, avoiding unnecessary formality. APANI feels like a calm destination for those seeking exceptional food away from the city’s bustle, a place where precision meets tranquillity, and the authentic flavours of Asia take centre stage.
