After restaurant, located on the top floor of a shopping centre in Banská Bystrica, welcomes guests with an unconventional interior, harmonious colours, large mirrors, and an open kitchen complemented by an attractive bar. Based on Italian cuisine, this concept is focused on authentic flavours, fresh pasta, and Neapolitan pizza. Combined with a Josper grill, the kitchen offers a concise yet sufficiently varied à la carte menu. Among the starters, alongside steak tartare, you can also find a very nice, well-seasoned hummus. Pasta dishes as main courses are prepared with Italian precision, as well as are the seafood options. Beyond the impressive views, the restaurant offers a solid selection of international and Slovak wines. It is unfortunate that the dessert offering, limited to a single type of strudel, does not reflect the quality or culinary concept of the rest of the menu. More attention to precision and seasoning across the dishes would be welcome. Nevertheless, enthusiasts of Italian cuisine are likely to be satisfied, and with improved staff training, the restaurant has the potential to become a place guests will be happy to return to.
