Restaurant Aqua & Farina in Rovinka offers a relaxing Italian culinary experience in a pleasant village on the outskirts of Bratislava. The interior is simple and typically Italian, focused on comfort and, above all, good food. The cuisine focuses on authentic Italian pizza, pasta, and a few gourmet specials. The pizza menu includes options such as “speck & zola” pizza or beef tartare “tartare di manzo”, which blend classic flavours with modern elements. The service staff have a friendly and relaxed approach, typical of a proper Italian bistro, although a bit more attention to customers would enhance the overall experience. While the pizza Bimbo was flavourful, the dough would benefit from more care, and we would avoid using canned corn altogether. On the other hand, we were delighted by the porcini risotto, a perfectly prepared creamy risotto with porcini mushrooms and tender sirloin. The pistachio soufflé with vanilla ice cream was also very enjoyable. Well balanced, tasty, and not overly sweet. If you are looking for an excellent Italian dinner without a rush and with a homelike atmosphere, Acqua & Farina is a decent choice.
