Tratorka

Tratorka is located right in the centre of Žilina. In this fairly large restaurant, guests can choose to sit indoors or, during the summer months, on the outdoor terrace set in a quiet courtyard away from the city bustle. The restaurant focuses primarily on Italian cuisine. The tomato soup was flavourful, well balanced, and pleasantly rich in taste, though there is still room for improvement in its visual presentation. We would also recommend to try the popular summer classic, the Caesar salad, which ranked among the better ones we have tried. The pronounced Parmesan dressing and crisp croutons worked together harmoniously. The only minor disappointment was the crêpes Suzette, which had a somewhat rubbery texture. With greater attention to these small details and a few more smiles from the service staff, Tratorka would certainly be a very pleasant place for lunch or dinner with family and friends.
