Remeselná reštaurácia Vyhňa

12.5 | 20

“In the middle of a housing estate, you will not gain anything,” goes the lyric of a famous song. This certainly does not apply to Vyhňa, which, in Bratislava’s Krasňany district, represents a place unlike almost any other in Slovakia. Hidden between a local shopping centre and a church, this small and unassuming establishment offers honest food, specialty coffee, excellent craft beer, and local wines. Vyhňa is clear proof that quality truly matters. The interior is simple yet homely, perfectly suited to the space and instantly making guests feel as if they were sitting in their own living room. When the friendly staff bring you a well-poured beer, accompanied by excellently seasoned beef tartare, superb chicken livers on homemade flatbread, or masterfully prepared dishes such as catfish paprikáš or beef with dill sauce and dumplings, you will not want to leave. We wish every town had its own “Vyhňa” tucked away among its housing estates.
