Ram’s in Bratislava connects modern Pan-Asian cuisine with an honest approach to ingredients and a sense of informal elegance. It is located in the wider city centre, in the newer part of the popular Eurovea shopping complex on the Danube riverbank. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car, with convenient parking available nearby. The menu brings together dishes from various Asian regions, with a strong focus on quality and presentation. Balanced flavours and precise preparation are among its main strengths. The interior is modern yet cosy, designed with comfort and a pleasant atmosphere in mind. However, the music selection felt somewhat out of place for the venue. The tom kha gai soup was perfectly seasoned and impressively aromatic, although we would have appreciated a slightly more generous portion of filling. The Thai red curry offered gentle heat and was paired with well-cooked rice. Dessert was also enjoyable: “edible stones”, essentially bonbons served with matcha and coffee crumble. While the service staff were present and attentive in their assigned areas, a more proactive approach would enhance the experience. Additionally, it would be beneficial if all wines listed on the wine list were consistently available. Ram’s is an ideal choice for those seeking a high-quality culinary experience without the formality of fine dining.
