Park Restaurant in Rimavská Sobota leaves a very positive impression from the very first moment. The surroundings are clean and well maintained. Guests are welcomed with a smile, and throughout the visit, the service staff remain natural, attentive, and accommodating, frequently checking that diners are satisfied, which creates a warm atmosphere and contributes significantly to the overall positive experience. The kitchen aims to work with the traditional flavours of the region with an honest approach. Some dishes were thoughtfully composed and very enjoyable, while others showed minor shortcomings in execution or presentation. These are small details, such as slightly undercooked (yet still tasty) pirohy or a kapustnica that is perhaps a little too thick, which could be easily addressed. The visit ended on a high note with the excellent halušky Šomlói, demonstrating that the kitchen has the potential to perform at a very high level both aesthetically and in terms of flavour. Park Restaurant is a charming establishment that combines excellent service with a warm, welcoming environment and is well worth a visit.
