Nozu is a modern Asian-fusion restaurant where it is easy to forget you are located within the Novum shopping centre in Prešov, which also makes straightforward parking very convenient. The interior combines raw concrete elements with subtle design details and is dominated by a striking pink sakura tree. Attentive and knowledgeable, the staff greet guests with a smile and are happy to provide recommendations tailored to individual preferences. The tacos with marinated salmon in kimchi sauce made for a fresh starter, while the edamame with yuzu salt and chilli provided a playful snack alongside drinks. The main course, a bulgogi steak with mushroom sauce and vibrant pesto, was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and I was pleasantly impressed with its balance of flavours. Accompanying the meal, you can choose from a generous selection of teas, homemade lemonades, and cocktails. At Nozu, modern urban style blends with Asian flavours, making it suitable for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, during which one can enjoy a small, restorative “zen” moment.
