L’uca in Twin City offers modern gastronomy in Bratislava’s business district, making it a convenient choice for business lunches and after-work gatherings. The interior reflects this concept well. Elegant and modern, with pleasant colours with a central bar as a focal point, and a solid cocktail selection. Public transport is only a few steps away from the restaurant and convenient garage parking is available nearby. The menu is based on Mediteranean cuisine and offers a wide variety of dishes, perhaps, even covering a broader spectrum than necessary. Prices are reasonable for the location, which makes the restaurant one of the best value-for-money in the area. We tried the mushroom cream soup, which had a nice consistency but could have benefited from bolder seasoning. The pizza had no obvious flaws, yet it lacked distinction and character, much like the lava cake. We would also recommend to improving the wine list, particularly its labelling, as well as a few more smiles from the staff would further enhance the experience. The lively and relaxed atmosphere makes this restaurant a place where people are likely to return to.
