The beef sviečkovica in cream sauce was tender and juicy, with a pleasantly creamy sauce, though the accompanying jam fell slightly short in both flavour and texture. Tyrolean dumplings held their shape well, absorbed the sauce beautifully and were overall tasty and well balanced. A highlight was the unconventional dessert: pirohy filled with a subtly sweet pumpkin mixture, complemented perfectly by amaretti biscuits with their almond-caramel aroma.
