CLOUD Restaurant is supported by the strong brand of DoubleTree by Hilton, where it is located. Its frequently visited location near the Winter Stadium attracts guests with an airy, elegant interior, comfortable seating, and a respectable wine list. A private car park in the hotel’s underground garage is definitely a plus. The staff during dinner were kind and helpful with recommendations; however, a bit more enthusiasm and a few more smiles when greeting the customers would have been welcome. That said, their knowledge of the menu and recommendation skills were commendable. The food shows great potential, and the menu is consistent, modern and flavourful. We began with exceptionally well-prepared chicken livers accompanied by a pronounced sauce, fine parsnip puree and pickled red onions, whose marinade elevated the experience even further. The rooster broth with house-made spaetzle was slightly saltier than necessary in our opinion. However, the interesting choice of orecchiette pasta served with the main course, combined with a distinctive Gorgonzola cream, once again improved our overall impression, leaving us fully satisfied. The convenient location, beautiful interior space, and excellent food prove that even a hotel restaurant outside the city centre can be a great choice for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner.
