The ambience is further enhanced by carefully selected matching music. The menu reflects the Arabic influences one would expect from a restaurant of this kind. It offers mezze served in small bowls, such as falafel, hummus, and muhammara, as well as meats from the shawarma grill, including lamb and chicken. The drinks menu features the traditional yoghurt drink ayran and Arabic teas with mint and cardamom and will also delight lovers of Arabica coffee. All beverages are served in traditional dishware, which is highly appreciated. The concept of Arabic cuisine is presented here at a genuinely high level and without pretension, which is impressive in itself. We especially recommend the shawarma lahme sandwich, tender lamb pieces in flatbread with onion and fresh parsley, served with creamy garlic dressing and hummus. It is an excellent combination showcasing the best that Arabeska has to offer, complemented by the unforgettable paprika-and-walnut paste muhammara.
